Otto Link Tenor (2000's) Tenney Blueprint "Tone Edge" 7
Here is an unaltered Doc Tenney blueprinted “Tone Edge”. It is marked with Doc’s stamp, “BP10E” and stamped 7 on the side. It measures .095 on my gauge.
In the early 2000’s, Paul “Doc” Tenney was working with the team at Saxquest in offering his Tenney Select mouthpieces including Meyers for alto, and Tone Edge and Super Tone Master tenors. Doc Tenney was a legend in his time with careers as diverse as being an actual doctor, an engineer, a pilot and a race car driver. That was aside from his music and refacing business which he was known for, but never advertised. This reflects his concept of minimal adjustments to designs that he thought were very good.
We prefer to sell our vintage mouthpieces in their original or existing condition and let the customer choose what to do with it. We can offer a 10% discount on our services for customization, please request by email at sebastianknoxwoodwinds@gmail.com.
