Here is a completely original Otto Link "Super Tone Master" 4 for alto. This piece measures .063" gauge. This has a serial number of E74.
The "Super" Tone Master was the next evolution of brass mouthpieces produced by Otto Link beginning in the 1950's. This one has many features in common with the earlier Tone Master pieces in terms of finish style and plating. The box is supposed to be original to the mouthpiece and is marked with the NY address and contemporary ligature and cap.
This would be an excellent choice for someone chasing a classic Bebop tone on alto with original type gear.
